EQUIPPED to Lead

Northview pastors and Columbia Bible College (CBC) faculty will be working together to provide instruction in the following courses:
  • Old Testament Survey
  • New Testament Survey
  • Introduction to Christian Theology
  • Introduction to Christian History
  • Spiritual Formation and Discipleship
  • Applied Leadership and Ministry Philosophy
Courses can be audited, or taken for credit at Columbia Bible College.  An individual taking all 6 courses could receive an 18-credit Leadership Development Certificate, which could be applied towards another certificate program or degree from CBC.
This program can not be taken by students already enrolled at CBC.

Candidate

The goal of this Leadership Development Certificate is to equip Northview staff members, volunteer leaders, and members of other churches for greater service in the Kingdom of God.

Commitment

Each course will run one evening per week for one semester (13 weeks) on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings (depending on which night our teachers and our instructional rooms are available). In Fall 2024, courses will run from 6:30 - 9:30 on Tuesday evenings.
We will run one course per semester, so all 6 courses can be taken over 3 years.
